Seniors frequently have mental health issues, which can include loneliness, anxiety and
mood disorders, dementia, and psychosis, among other things. While the majority of older
persons are in good mental health, many are at risk of mental, neurological, or drug use
disorders in addition to other illnesses including diabetes, hearing impairment, and arthritis.
